1. Information We Collect
When you use Limina, we collect:
- Account information: email address and display name. Passwords are managed securely by AWS Cognito.
- Profile information: profile photo and Instagram handle (optional)
- Event data: events you create or join, invitation codes you generate and redeem
- Chat messages: text and images sent in event chat rooms
- Inspection data: QR scan location and timestamp (collected from ticket inspectors at event entry)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Limina service
- Verify your identity for event access
- Display your profile to other event attendees
- Send you sign-in codes and notifications via email
- Enable chat communication between event attendees
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Your profile information (display name, photo, Instagram handle) is visible to other attendees of events you join. We share data with:
- AWS: infrastructure provider, covered under the AWS Data Processing Addendum
- Event creators and admins: can see attendee profiles and verification submissions for their events
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (see Data Deletion)
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, your data is removed from the active system. See our Data Deletion page for details.
7. Third-Party Services
Limina may in the future integrate with third-party services for identity verification (e.g., Vipps, BankID) and social login (e.g., Instagram, Facebook). If enabled, these services have their own privacy policies that apply to the data they process.
