How to Delete Your Account and Data

You can request deletion of your Limina account and all associated data.

Option 1: Leave Individual Events

  1. Open the event in the Limina app
  2. Tap Leave Event
  3. Your membership is deactivated and your pending invitation codes are revoked
  4. People you already invited keep their access

Option 2: Full Account Deletion

To permanently delete your account and all associated data, send an email to with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Limina account.

We will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  1. Your user account and profile (name, photo, Instagram handle)
  2. Your event memberships
  3. Your chat messages
  4. Your invitation codes and invitation history
  5. Your verification submissions
  6. Your authentication credentials (removed from AWS Cognito)
Note: Invitation codes that were already redeemed by others will remain valid — those users keep their access to the event. Inspection records (QR scans) may be retained in anonymized form for event security purposes.
